VISION

HAP envisions a world where creative expression is not only encouraged but celebrated, sparking meaningful discussions & fostering a deep appreciation for the arts. Our intent is to support & study diverse art forms, transforming them into educational, aesthetic, & intellectual experiences. By enriching cultural encounters for a wide range of audiences, we aim to revolutionise how people perceive & engage with art. We strive to elevate local & regional craftsmanship, empowering women artists & children artists to commercialise their work & make a lasting impact on the cultural landscape at the global level-transcending geographical boundaries.

MISSION

Our mission is to curate, preserve, showcase, & interpret artworks created by artists from diverse backgrounds, including women & children from urban, rural, & tribal regions, enriching lives through the transformative power of art. We are deeply committed to nurturing young artists, fostering their talents, & exposing them to a wide range of art forms. Our goal is to present & promote art in its most authentic form, offering a unique & enriching experience for all artists & art enthusiasts.

Message from the Director

India is a treasure trove of artistic expression, intricately woven into its rich cultural fabric. A gallery serves as both a sanctuary for artists to share their creations & a space for the audience to experience, appreciate, & connect with the emotions behind each piece. Art, in its many forms, transcends mere aesthetics – it is a universal language, present in the natural world, in human evolution, & every cultural nuance. Across India, artists from diverse backgrounds -urban, rural, tribal, modern -use art as a powerful means of communication. Yet, much of this artistry, especially from unorganised sectors or rural & tribal communities, remains underappreciated in the commercial world.

In today’s fast-paced, industrialised world, we’ve grown disconnected from this innate artistry. Though art surrounds us, we often overlook it. Galleries are crucial in bridging this gap, introducing art to people of all ages & helping them to express themselves creatively while cultivating a deeper appreciation for the world around them. This is especially important for women & children, who are central to HAP’s mission.

Hina’s Art Pavilion (HAP) is a groundbreaking space, marking its place as India’s first national gallery uplifting the voices of all artists, specifically dedicated to showcasing the works of women and children artists.
